St. Nicholas Day 2012

St. Nick paid a visit to Lamb of God on December 6, 2012 -- St. Nicholas Day.

The children had a good time with St. Nick.

The Easter season in the church year may be over, but we're still in the "festival" portion of the church year! Trinity Sunday is the ancient church's celebration of the mystery of the Triune God -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons in one God. It is a mystery of the faith, and essential to Christianity.

Sunday, May 26, is Trinity Sunday.

The readings for the Trinity Sunday are:

Old Testament - Isaiah 6:1-7

Epistle - Romans 11:33-36

Gospel - John 3:1-15 (16-17)

Midweek catechesis for all ages is almost over for the year. Catechesis for ages 3 - high school, begins at 4:30 pm, and concludes at 5:30.

Children in pre-school and Kindergarten are invited to attend catechesis the first Wednesday of every month.

The Divine Service is celebrated at Lamb of God every Sunday at 9:00 am.
