Lamb of God Lutheran Church

He is risen.

He is risen, indeed. Hallelujah!

The Easter season in the church year may be over, but we're still in the "festival" portion of the church year! Pentecost -- the birthday of the Christian church, when the Holy Spirit descended on the twelve disciples, allowing them to go forth into all the world and preach and teach in the languages of the people they met -- is one of the biggest festival Sundays of the church year.
